About CAMP-US

It started long before CAMP-US.

I was a student here too.

I came to Baltimore as a student.

I had to figure out the same things students still figure out today.

Where to live. How to get around.

Which neighborhoods felt like home.

How to meet people.

How to make a completely unfamiliar city feel familiar.

I came here to study.

But Baltimore became home.

Then I graduated.

Some photographs mean more years later.

I didn’t know it then, but eventually Baltimore would bring me back.

Then life took me somewhere else.

Finance. Investments. Work. Life.

But Baltimore stayed with me.

And started building the thing I wish had existed when I arrived.

It started with a house.

“I first came to Baltimore as a student, so CAMP-US has always been personal to me.
What started with housing has grown into something broader: furnished homes near campus, practical help for students arriving in Baltimore, and a community that makes the city feel a little less unfamiliar.
I still stay closely involved — from the houses and operations to meeting residents, improving the experience and bringing people together.
That’s intentional.”

CAMP-US isn’t supposed to feel like a giant property-management company.

I want students to know there’s actually a person behind the place they call home.

Small company.

Big community.

CAMP-US is founder-led and intentionally small. We work with independent local contractors and specialists who help with maintenance, cleaning, property services and other parts of the operation. But the biggest part of CAMP-US isn’t an org chart.

It’s the people who live here.
